What's Going On?

One of my promises to myself is to walk more and be more active. Although, I must confess I haven’t yet, I do plan on it. Those who know me well are probably chuckling. You notice how I say promise and not goals. I find at the beginning of every year I make my list of what I want to accomplish. I don’t write it down, I keep it in my head, because what if I don’t do it? Hench the chuckle, I probably goal myself to be more active every year, but this year it is a promise, and one I hope not to break. Truthfully, other than finding time, I have no excuses. Back in 2018 I discovered On Running Footwear. These sneakers are fabulous! They are the lightest weight sneaker, extremely comfortable, good looking and although designed and engineered for performance originally, they have quickly become a lifestyle shoe. I love mine and thanks to another retailer/friend Pinners Fine Shoes in Gainesville Florida, while traveling Denmark I was introduced to the product. On had incredible growth during 2019, planned for 50% increase, "On" was up 113% to the previous year. Recently Roger Federer announced he joined the company as a partner. This brand is on track for a dynamic future. I am thrilled we will be a part of it.

Times are difficult and being a small business, up against large companies, many times our own manufactures, especially now at the end of a season, there is clearly a battle for business. If you see a promotion or a SALE on a manufacturer's website, please tell us! Staying competitive and up to date with pricing is nearly impossible. We are a small team, in a small business, spending most of our day in the store working with clients, building wardrobes, creating looks while maintaining relationships. There are not enough hours in a day to shop sites to ensure we are in line with pricing. We need to know. Please tell us. I will say sometimes it is misleading, because something may show up on sale, but it is not the exact same item, size, color etc. Many times, the seasonal color is marked down, but the black is not. If the exact item is reduced, we will match the price! Don't be embarrassed to tell us. We will gladly adjust the price if need be. Your business and your loyalty are what is important.
